    Globetek has agreed a partnership alliance with Procer Ltd of Romania.

    PROCER is a leading technical consultancy and staffing agency in Romania and a preferred Romanian supplier of a wide range of personnel solutions for international companies that operate in various technical service areas.

    The strategic alliance strengthens Globetek's position within Eastern Europe and worldwide and working with Procer will enable Globetek to compete more proficiently with clients in the Middle East, Canada, Caspian Area, Africa and Asia.

    Globetek Ltd has launched its new "Engineering Support Service"

    The aim of the service is to provide further support services to engineering companies specifically in the roles of WPS, WPQR Welder Coding and NDT Inspection. The service has been recently tested and tried with great success for a major Global offshore renewable energy contractor. It involved devising a WPS & WPQR and coding welders, with the added measure of inspection after penetrative welding of the generator bed frames.

    Globetek Ltd the speacialist resource provider to the Oil & Gas, Energies & Power Generation sectors has won a major contract to supply workers to Scandanavia with a major player in offshore Wind Energies. The contracts are commencing immediately. Globetek Ltd will mobilise hands on trades from welders, NDT, pipefitters and platers to more professional roles such as project Supervisors and QA/QC, the role will also see Globetek Ltd expand its service operations into WPS and WPQR.

    Globetek Ltd has become a member of First Point Assessment (FPAL)!

    FPAL is the oil and gas supply chain database for the UK and The Netherlands and is a division of Achilles Information Limited.

    FPAL was set up in 1996 by the industry as their solution to internal vendor approved lists and continues to successfully eliminate costly duplication in pre-qualifying suppliers.

    FPAL is the key tool used by oil & gas purchasers to identify and select current and potential suppliers when awarding contracts or purchase orders.

    Globetek Ltd is over joyed to be the proud sponsor of Highley RFC for the 2008/2009 season.

    On top of their recent Club of the Year award and trip to Twickenham for being the country’s most progressive junior club. Highley Rugby Club have continued their remarkable progress less than two years after they were formed by winning another major award.

    Highley received the West Midlands regional award for success in the Rugby Football Union's Go Play Rugby initiative at the North Midlands RFU Volunteer Awards evening at Worcester Warriors' Sixways Stadium.

    Go Play Rugby was a major recruitment initative based around last autumn's Rugby World Cup aimed at attracting new players and former rugby players back to the sport. 

    Highley were one of 36 North Midlands clubs who took part in Go Play Rugby and they reported a 125 per cent increase in playing numbers as a result of their efforts.

    Highley’s ‘Go Play Rugby’ campaign leader Rob Parr said “this award tops a fantastic 2008 for the club and we are only in June. I don’t think any of us could have imagined this when we started”
