Lead Pipelines IRM Engineer – London or Aberdeen

Our client is an independent engineering company offering design and analysis as well as specialist consultancy and third party support services in Subsea Pipelines and Structures. They also provide specialist services in marine and coastal engineering, and in the emerging wind farm sector.  The company has an impressive track record serving oil and gas majors and independents, installation contractors and suppliers. They employ highly experienced engineers with wide ranging competencies in structures, geotechnical, civil and mechanical engineering. They have the ability to deliver tailored solutions whether in the context of conventional Subsea tie-back projects in the North Sea, or of some of the most challenging projects worldwide involving deepwaters, HPHT and extreme natural environments. NDT Technician – Holland & Belgium

Our client  provides specialised inspection, monitoring and certification services, analyses and tests for the most wide-ranging applications in the field of electricity, hoisting apparatus, pressure equipment, civil engineering, safety in the work place, environmental protection and radiant protection.They are seeking a NDT Technician with MPI, DPI & UT experience. A VCA safety passport is required and also a valid ADR certificate to transport isotopes.

 

 

 

First Engineer – North Sea 5 week rotation

The First Engineer is responsible for managing the daily operations of the vessel’s technical department, including maintenance and repair activities. You will participate fulltime in the company's new building project team during the construction phase of the vessel and after delivery, you will work in a 5 week on/off rotation schedule.  Key responsibilities

·         Responsibility for the safe operation of the vessel main machinery and auxiliary equipment

·         Manage maintenance and repair activities of the vessel machinery and contractor’s equipment, using the Company’s planned maintenance procedures.

·         On board training and familiarisation of technical staff.

·         Actively promote HSE awareness within the technical department and safeguard compliance with SHL HSE procedures.

·         Assist the Chief Engineer in managing the vessel’s technical department.

·         Provide technical assistance to the project construction team

·         Act as Duty Engineer  

Capability Profile / qualifications 

·         First Engineer certificate (Engineer Officer Certificate Class 2)]

·         Knowledge of Vessel Management Systems (preferably Kongsberg).

·         Knowledge Dynamic Positioning Systems (preferably Kongsberg)

·         Basic knowledge of High Voltage power generation and distribution systems.

·         Knowledge of planned maintenance systems (preferably AMOS).

·         Good knowledge of the English language.

·         Minimum 2 years of experience as Duty Engineer.
